Hydromar is attending the METStrade show in Amsterdam. This year the show will run from 19 to 21 November.
The METStrade Show is the largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and systems for the international marine industry. In the two dedicated halls 10 and 11 it will be the 15th occasion that the Super Yacht Pavilion offers a platform for the luxury yacht world. You can find us in the Super Yacht Pavilion in Hall 11 on stand 11.609. On this three-day event superyacht professionals from all over the world come together to meet and to see all the new innovations in the superyacht market.
Innovations and development
Bathing platform Seascape
“Using the Seascape bathing platform to enter the quay safely”. This was one of the requirements of a client from us. When the Seascape bathing platform is used for entering the quay, the platform has to have a certain free float. The free float is necessary to level the floating of the boat in the water towards the quay, so the passengers can step off the platform safely. The free float functionality is an optional choice upon request and is a special product within our range.
Furthermore, we expanded our sizes of the Seascape to five instead of three. And type 2 is also developed as a ‘heavy duty’ version to an SWL of 1500kg with stronger cylinders, critical construction parts and more powerful powerpack.
Slim Fit Side Boarding ladder
For yachts with a limited installation space, Hydromar developed the Slim Fit Side Boarding Ladder. Mostly used for superyachts between 30 to 60 metres. The Slim Fit boarding ladder takes less installation space below deck because of a lower height of the technical design.
Extra size Swim ladder
Within the swim ladder range, Hydromar developed an extra size with a maximum of 10 steps until a maximum length of 3.3m and a platform of 3.0×1.5m. The swim ladder is constructed entirely in stainless steel.
Garage cranes
In most cases the tenders will be lifted out of the garages by garage cranes and then the tenders are rotated with ropes. We developed a rotating lifting point to our sliding beam cranes, so the tenders will be rotated by the lifting points in stead of the ropes. Not only a pleasure for the crew but also a time saver.
